The aim of a property inspection is to inform the individual buyer of the current condition of the property. The sale contract the buyer and seller entered is contingent on the home report. A buyer will generally have the option based upon the building inspections to; opt out of the transaction, ask for repairs or credit towards repairs or a purchase price decrease.
It would seem that the importance of a good, thorough building inspection by a qualified property inspector is obvious. Never the less many house buyers do not sufficiently research the profession before hiring an inspector. Most people simply ask the price of the house inspection and availability of the property inspector when calling to hire an inspector. This is an extremely poor method in which to choose a property inspector. When buying a new car or furniture set would you merely go to the retailer and buy the cheapesthome? In all likelihood a poor quality item that you will probably regret hastily purchasing.
Selecting a skilled pro house inspector is definitely no different. Just like the example, a low priced, fastly) available inspector may mean the same thing; low quality. Do not rush into a home transaction – ever.
